Mesajul de condoleanțe transmis de premierul Dacian Cioloș omologului britanic David Cameron după asasinarea deputatului laburist Jo Cox
Stimate domnule Prim-Ministru,
Sunt profund îndurerat de atacul abominabil comis nu doar asupra unui tânăr politician care și-a asumat proactiv o opinie, ci și asupra valorilor pe care știm că poporul britanic le împărtășește, le promovează și le apără. Sunt convins că astfel de gesturi nu-i vor împiedica, nici acum, nici în viitor, pe cetăţenii britanici să-și exprime liber și să-și asume opiniile, la nivel individual sau colectiv.
Adresez sincere condoleanțe familiei și prietenilor parlamentarului laburist Jo Cox.

Dear Prime Minister,
I am deeply saddened by the abominable attack on not just a young politician that proactively assumed an opinion, but on the values which I know the British people share, promote and defend. I am convinced that such gestures will not prevent the British citizens to express, now and always, individual and collective opinions freely and in an assumed manner.
My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Labour parliamentarian Jo Cox.
